Children's Choice Childminding Service offers a safe and nurturing homely environment, where your child will receive the attention and care that he or she needs.
My childminding setting comprises of a large main play room, a multi-functional room, a toilet/change room and outdoor facilities. It reflects all the features of a mini nursery in a homely environment.
The setting offers a wide range of educational toys and equipment for children aged 0-8.
I aim to offer the best care and education that I can possibly provide by keeping my ratio low instead of the maximum ratio of 1-6 as stated on my registration. This enables me to provide your child with more one-one care and attention, allowing me to easily observe and plan activities to promote and support your child's developmental needs. Children thrive on consistent care and attention. Therefore, It is essential that I work in partnership with parents and carers to meet and support the developing needs of the child. I use an on-line technology system called Babysdays, which is a fantastic tool that facilitates working together with parents. This system aids all aspects of my childminding service. It is fully interactive and SSL certified and is therefore, fantastic for communicating with parents and planning for children's individual needs. A parents user-guide can be foundhere. Activities for children are incorporated into a daily routine and are based on the individual needs of children and parents. Activities are delivered following the Early Years Foundation Stage guidance and are planned to suit the needs, interests and development stage of each individual child. Your child will have his/her own development file, which you can view at any time. You can view a downloaded version of the 'Parents Guide to the EYFS here

- Story/circle Time
- Show and Tell/Treasure Baskets
